Bad Beat Jackpot

Jackpot rules

1. The Bad Beat Jackpot starts at $500.
2. After 20 tournament occasions without the jackpot being awarded, it grows by $50 every week until someone hits it. (A tournament occasion is a 72-hour period that may include several tournaments.) There is no maximum.
3. It can be won in any 701 Poker event, including survivor and secondary tournaments.
4. The losing hand must be four 2s (quad deuces) or better, and lose to a better hand.
5. Both hole cards must play in both the winning and losing hands.
6. Once the jackpot reaches $5,000, it is paid 80% to the losing hand and 20% to the winning hand.
7. The Bad Beat Jackpot is fully sponsored. No money comes out of the tournament prize pool.
